ABOUT
ABOUT ME
I am an avid lover of the arts. Over the last 15 years, I have starred in numerous community theater productions, and performed at the last 10 Hoggetowne Medieval Faires. I am on the board and bench coach for the ACR Hunnies, a roller derby team based in Lake City, FL. I have recently started quilting, and have a number of crafting projects going at any given time.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I have over 15 years of experience in public libraries. Starting right after high school I worked as a shelver, and then came back after college and worked my way up from a Library Assistant I to a Librarian II. My passions are Youth Services and Collection Development, but my studies sparked an interest in curation.

WHAT I DO
I joined the Alachua County Library District at the end of October 2018. Since that time, I have worked as a Specialist in outreach, driving and staffing the bookmobiles.
After I graduate, I plan to seek a Librarian position in this county. My ultimate goal is to one day be a librarian for Pixar or Disney, as my undergrad is a BFA with a specialization in animation.
