Teach students the history of animation through the technology that shaped. Engage learners of all types, through text, audio, and video.

Users

High school (ages 14-18) high school students who are doing an animation unit for art class.

b) State who your stakeholders are:

Instructor - depending on students getting all the information they need to complete their project.

Parents - vested interest in their children succeeding.

Administrators - funding depends on success/grade of the school and students.

Goal/Outcome

Students recognize early animation prototypes

Students identify landmark animated films

Students match the technology used with the landmark films.

Students categorize films/technology with the studios that created them.

Students create their own short animation based on the early forms.

Assessments

Visual quiz that will require students to match inventions to their images, and stills of films to their landmark contribution and/or name.
