Problem
Make adult patrons and non-library users aware of the library’s program offerings for the summer reading program.
Users
Adults, ages 18 & up, though most likely to be ages 18 - 45, as that age range already participates in activities similar to those being offered.
Stakeholders
Library administrators - they’ll be looking at statistics on attendance, as that will determine the amount of funding given to those programs and whether to have such programs in the future.
Friends of the Library - since they provide funding for library programs, they may increase the amount of money given towards programs if these prove to be well attended.
Other Info
This is an attempt to appeal to younger audiences of library users and non-library users. Typically older adults come to library programs, so this is to try to expand that audience.
